Could this be your life Game Link
Could this be your life worksheet
When done with Could this be your life-
On a blank Google Document, find 2 Music videos for each category of Goals (for a total of 6 Videos). Save it as Goals Videos.
Under each category, list the 2 songs, as well as links. After each video, put if it is a short term or long term goal, and why.
Example:
Personal Goals-
1)“I want a billion views” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnhuvXEw9Ok
This is a long term goal in my opinion because it would take time for the video to spread. A million could be done in a year (or a month) but a billion would take much longer.

Your assignment today is to go to this website. I didn't create it- it's actually a little old, you'll notice that if you look at all the pictures.
It's to practice budgeting. What I want you to do is open up the web page. You will notice each step has multiple questions- COPY AND PASTE THEM INTO A BLANK WORD DOCUMENT!!
Once you have done that, answer them accordingly, and upload to your Google Documents "Activities" folder, and name it "WebQuest."
For example, on your paper it should have from the first question:
Step 1: Name of Complex (if applicable): ______________________________________
Street Address:____________________________________________________
City, State Zip:____________________________________________________
Phone: __________________________________________________________
Rent:____________________________________________________________
% of Monthly Salary (if more or less than 28%, you will need to adjust other budget items):_____________________________________________________
Apartment Description:______________________________________________
Website used: ____________________________________________________
(You can do this by copying and pasting).
Not all links will work- especially when it comes to the cell phone plans. You can just research these on your own- look at the websites homepage and you can find the same info, just in a different spot. Use Google- it will provide you with plenty of websites with the right info!
When/If you get done, play this Game.

Link to Careers- What High Schoolers are Saying
Questions for you to answer-1) Doing no further research- looking up salary, cost of school, etc,- what career do you want to have after you are done with school?
2) Will you need a degree? How many years?
3) Did you chose your career because of the salary? If not, state your reasoning.
4) If you did chose your career because of salary, pick another career that you would chose because it’s just something you’d want to do. If you didn’t pick a career because of salary, go ahead and pick one BECAUSE of salary.
Note: You may not know the actual salaries and what pays more or less. Use your logic and what you already know. Again, you don’t need to research, this is just to get the brain working!
5) What have you done to prepare yourself for this career- and/or what could you do? If you haven’t done anything yet- why not? When you have answered the questions, go here and create an account. It's free, and takes seconds. You will have to verify your account via email. Create an avatar that says all/most of questions you answered about a career. Click finish, and get the Standard Voki Link- I want you to copy and paste it on the Personal Finance Forum ->Assignments.
